Folding Boundaries

Huntsville, AR was the site for this proposed library design which was a mass timber building using mainly CLT panels as well as glulam beams and columns. The library was integrated into the topography of the site but allowed for optimal use of the outdoor spaces and offered a long terrace for mixed-use purposes.

The facade design created a seamless continuity that was continued throughout the shell of the building. The window design reemphasized this continuity while allowing for natural light to hit the wooden interior.
